Addressing Temperature Challenges at Eversley Village Hall

Following essential building maintenance, including a full roof replacement, the hall team needed a way to maintain a steadier, healthier indoor temperature, particularly for young children under five.



The Challenge

The hall’s temperature fluctuated heavily, ranging from very cold to not quite warm. With warm air naturally rising and gathering at ceiling level, the existing heating system had to work harder to achieve comfortable conditions at floor level.



The Solution

While researching ways to better retain and redistribute heat after the roof works, the team discovered Airius and selected the Airius Suspended Series destratification fan solution to continuously recirculate warm air back down into the occupied zone.

The system was also required to be unobtrusive for a nursery environment, delivering improved comfort without noticeable noise or disruption.



The Outcome

Since installation, the hall has seen a clear improvement in day-to-day comfort and heating effectiveness:

The hall feels less cold in the mornings
The space warms up quicker
The heating system does not need to work as hard
The fans are very quiet and not intrusive for nursery users



““The feedback is phenomenal. It’s made a pretty astounding difference. The heating has not been working as hard as it has done in the past. They’re very, very quiet. They’re not intrusive in any way, either from feel or from sound.”
